In Krisen-Zeiten wie diesen ist vor allem eines wichtig: der Zusammenhalt zwischen Menschen – und in diesem Zuge auch Unternehmen. Denn nur gemeinsam werden wir die Herausforderungen erfolgreich meistern. Das erkannte auch das Venture-Client-Unternehmen 27pilots und startete eine Initiative. Wir als KINEXON sind mit dabei und helfen, Mitarbeiter zu schützen und Produktionsprozesse aufrecht zu erhalten!
Von der Idee zum Website-Launch: In weniger als 24 Stunden rief 27pilots die Plattform startupsagainstcorona.com ins Leben. Hier können Start-ups Lösungen zu akuten industriellen Herausforderungen einreichen, mit denen sich Unternehmen durch die COVID-19-Pandemie konfrontiert sehen.
Dass 27pilots hinter dieser Initiative steckt, wundert nicht – denn seit 2015 liegt es in ihrer DNA, die Zusammenarbeit zwischen Konzernen, wie der BMW Group oder die BSH Hausgeräte GmbH, und Start-ups zu organisieren.
„Wir sind überwältigt von dem Zuspruch dieser Initiative – sowohl seitens der Start-ups als auch der Unternehmen. Aktuell evaluieren wir mehr als 300 Lösungen von Start-ups aus aller Welt für Problemstellungen aller Art. Die Anwendungsbereiche sind dabei breit aufgestellt – von der Prävention über das Supply Chain Management bis hin zu Remote Work.“
Umso mehr fühlen wir uns als KINEXON geehrt, innerhalb dieser Initiative auch den Titel „Start-up des Tages“ erhalten zu haben. Die Lösung, die wir dafür eingereicht haben:
Echtzeit-Lokalisierung ganz im Zeichen des Mitarbeiterschutzes. Mithilfe unserer kleinen UWB-basierten Sensoren und den dazugehörigen Ankern erfassen wir die Bewegungen der Shopfloor-Mitarbeiter. Das KINEXON RTLS nimmt die Daten auf, während sie zeitgleich in der KINEXON Real-Time-IoT-Plattform (RIoT) zur Analyse und Verarbeitung bereitgestellt werden.
Das ermöglicht Unternehmen, zu prüfen, ob Social Distancing eingehalten worden ist (z.B. bei einem Schichtwechsel). Sie können also die Mitarbeiter schützen und gleichzeitig die Produktion in Betrieb halten – ein Paradebeispiel ist dabei unser Kunde ASM, der einen ersten realisierten Praxis-Case lieferte.
Auch abgesehen davon spielt Echtzeit-Lokalisierung eine tragende Rolle bei der Digitalisierung im industriellen Umfeld: Sie ist eine der Schlüsseltechnologien, um eine Smart Factory oder Smart Supply Chain zu realisieren. Die Use Cases sind dabei vielfältig – von der Reduzierung der Suchzeiten bis hin zur Vermeidung von Prozessfehlern und unnötigen Scanvorgängen.

Online können Unternehmen Problemstellungen posten, mit denen sie im Zusammenhang mit der COVID-19-Pandemie zu kämpfen haben. Dies betrifft beispielsweise die Gewährleistung stabiler Lieferketten oder die Personaleinsatzplanung.
Start-ups wiederum können ihre Lösungen anbieten – entweder passend zu den geposteten Herausforderungen oder unabhängig davon als allgemeine Vorschläge. Anfragen und Lösungsansätze werden von einer Taskforce – bestehend aus vier Festangestellten sowie zahlreichen Helfern – geprüft und Start-ups und Unternehmen miteinander vernetzt.
Nach nur wenigen Tagen konnte die Plattform schon erste Erfolge verbuchen. So arbeitet heute beispielsweise das indische Start-up Leena AI (Sprachbot) mit dem Baumaterialhersteller LaFargeHolcim zusammen.
