Eine Meldung, die uns doppelt freut: BMW gewinnt Logistik-Preis 2019
Wenn einer unserer Kunden mit einem renommierten Preis ausgezeichnet wird, sorgt das auch bei KINEXON für Aufsehen und Jubel. Und wenn dabei unsere Technologie einen entscheidenden Beitrag liefern konnte natürlich gleich noch mehr.
Mit einer solchen Meldung über unseren Kunden BMW startete es sich heute Morgen besonders gut in den Tag: Der Logistik-Preis 2019 der Bundesvereinigung Logistik (BVL) geht an die BMW Group. Mit dem Preis wird der Münchner Automobilhersteller für sein Transport- und Intralogistik-Projekt „Logistics Next“ geehrt. Dieses sei ein vorbildliches Beispiel für eine bereits fortgeschrittene digitale Transformation.
Als einer der Systempartner von BMW haben wir die Ehre, in mehreren Technologien zu diesem Projekt beizutragen. So entwickelten wir zusammen mit BMW die leitlinienfreie Steuerung der smarten Transport Roboter (STR) und unterstützen fortlaufend bei Industrie‑4.0‑Konzepten und Innovationen in Bereichen wie KI, intelligenter Prozessautomatisierung und Fahrerlosen Transportsystemen (FTS).
Wir kennen daher einen großen Teil des Projektteams seit Jahren und wissen, wie viel Leidenschaft, Ambition und Biss alle Beteiligten aufbrachten, um in nur drei Jahren dort hinzukommen, wo das Projekt heute bereits steht. Unseren größten Respekt und höchste Anerkennung für diese außergewöhnliche Leistung. Vom gesamten KINEXON-Team daher:

In seiner Begründung brachte es der VDA-Präsident und Vorstandsvorsitzende der BVL, Matthias Wissmann, sehr gut auf den Punkt:
„Die Langfristigkeit der Zielsetzungen und Planungen, die Konsequenz in der Umsetzung und die Begeisterung der Projektbeteiligten und deren Teamgeist sind erfrischend, innovativ und vorbildlich – ebenso wie die standortübergreifende Zusammenarbeit zwischen Produktion, Logistik und IT. Das alles hat uns überzeugt.“
Das Votum der Jury sei in der zweiten Runde sogar einstimmig ausgefallen. Dem ist nichts mehr hinzuzufügen. Wir sind stolz auf eine solche Zusammenarbeit und freuen uns auf die nächsten Schritte. Mehr dürfen wir natürlich nicht verraten 😉
