Die Smart­Fac­to­ryOWL ist ein her­stel­ler­un­ab­hän­gi­ges Indus­trie 4.0 Anwen­dungs- und Demons­tra­ti­ons­zen­trum des Fraun­ho­fer IOSB-INA und der Tech­ni­schen Hoch­schu­le Ost­west­fa­len-Lip­pe. KMUs haben hier die Gele­gen­heit, die Poten­tia­le von Echt­zeit­lo­ka­li­sie­rung für ihre Trans­for­ma­ti­on zur Intel­li­gen­ten Fabrik“ in der Pra­xis zu tes­ten und Know-how aus ers­ter Hand zu erhalten.

Seit 2018 pfle­gen KIN­EXON und das Fraun­ho­fer IOSB-INA mit meh­re­ren gemein­schaft­li­chen Pro­jek­ten einen part­ner­schaft­li­chen Wis­sens- und Tech­no­lo­gie­trans­fer. Nun wird in der Regi­on Ost­west­fa­len-Lip­pe ein wei­te­res Kapi­tel auf­ge­schla­gen. Kenn­zei­chen der Regi­on Ost­west­fa­len-Lip­pe ist ein brei­ter Bran­chen­mix im ver­ar­bei­ten­den Gewer­be mit Schwer­punk­ten in der Möbel‑, Ernährungs‑, Kunst­stoff- und Metall­in­dus­trie. Hier erwirt­schaf­ten 190.000 Beschäf­tig­te in 1.696 Unter­neh­men einen Umsatz von 38 Mil­li­ar­den Euro. Ost­west­fa­len-Lip­pe gehört damit zu einer der stärks­ten deut­schen Wirtschaftsregionen.

KMUs sind ein­ge­la­den, eige­nen Anwen­dungs­fall zu schaffen

Als Full­stack-Anbie­ter bie­tet KIN­EXON aus einer Hand drei zen­tra­le Tech­no­lo­gien für das indus­tri­el­le Inter­net der Din­ge (iIoT): ein RTLS-Sen­sor­netz­werk zum Asset-Track­ing in Echt­zeit, eine RIoT-Platt­form zur Live-Abbil­dung eines Digi­ta­len Zwil­lings“ und Pro­cess Mining zur Ana­ly­se und Opti­mie­rung von Pro­duk­ti­ons- und Logistik-Prozessen.

In der Smart­Fac­to­ryOWL in Lem­go bie­tet sich KMUs die Gele­gen­heit, in I4K­MU-Test­um­ge­bung und akkre­di­tier­ter For­schungs­in­fra­struk­tur moderns­te Top-Tech­no­lo­gien ken­nen­zu­ler­nen, zu tes­ten, pilo­tie­ren und in die eige­nen Arbeits- und Pro­duk­ti­ons­pro­zes­se ein­zu­füh­ren. Zudem ste­hen wis­sen­schaft­li­che Exper­ten sowie zahl­rei­che Events, Tou­ren oder Semi­na­re zur Ver­fü­gung, um Unter­neh­men pra­xis­nah bei der indi­vi­du­el­len digi­ta­len Trans­for­ma­ti­on zu unterstützen.
