Die Europäische Handballföderation EHF etabliert den Select iBall für große Turniere zur Messung von Kennzahlen wie Ballgeschwindigkeit, Schussposition und Schussdistanz.
The Select iBall made another appearance during a major handball sports event: The Women’s EHF EURO 2018 that took place in France from November 29th until December 16th 2018.
After the successful VELUX EHF FINAL 4 2018, the European Handball Federation EHF establishes the Select iBall for major tournaments. In a total of five matches, including all semi-finals and the final, the Select iBall was in use and measured metrics like ball speed, shot positions and shot distance.

The Benefits of Ball Tracking in Handball
The results were transmitted as TV graphics via the official broadcasting signal, where a peak audience of 8.1 million watched France win in an exciting final against Russia 24:21. Further distribution channels for these statistics were the official EHF EURO 2018 app and social media, where they created thousands of likes and shares.

In insgesamt fünf Spielen, darunter alle Halbfinals und das Finale, war der SELECT / KINEXON iBall im Einsatz und maß Kennzahlen wie Ballgeschwindigkeit, Schussposition und Schussdistanz. Die Ergebnisse wurden als TV-Grafik über das offizielle Übertragungssignal transportiert, wo ein Spitzenpublikum von 8,1 Millionen Zuschauern miterlebte, wie Frankreich in einem hochspannenden Finale Russland mit 24:21 bezwang. Weitere Vertriebskanäle für die Statistiken waren die offizielle EHF EURO 2018 App sowie die Social Media Plattformen, auf denen sie tausende Likes und Shares schufen.
So konnten Fans und Zuschauer mehr über die Spielerinnen, die erbrachten Leistungen auf dem Platz und das Tempo des Spiels erfahren und sich nicht zuletzt über die faszinierenden Erkenntnisse austauschen.
