Mit einem Gewicht von nur 14 Gramm erfassen die Sensoren in den Trikots der Sportler ihre Bewegungen, ihren Status sowie weitere Leistungsindikatoren. Die Fortschritte auf dem Gebiet der Funktechnologie ermöglichen den Einsatz dieses Systems in immer mehr Sportarten. Ein weiteres Highlight der digitalen Mediengestaltung von KINEXON war das Motocross-Spektakel Red Bull X Fighters Finale in Spanien. Auch hier lieferte die KINEXON-Technologie einen hochinformativen Datenfeed für den Broadcast. Die Zuschauer erhielten Echtzeit-Statistiken, die grafisch aufbereitet wurden, um ein neues Maß an Sportvergnügen zu ermöglichen. With its highly accurate tracking system, KINEXON provides sports data and analytics that broadcasters can incorporate into their programs. Weighing only 14 grams, the sensors in the jerseys of athletes record their movements, status, as well as further performance indicators.
The advances in the field of radio technology make application of this system possible in an ever-increasing number of sports. The technology was already in use at the Beach Volleyball World Championship in Vienna and the FIVB World Tour Finals in Hamburg. Coaches and players used it to measure the height and number of jumps, consumed calories, and the distance they traveled.
