VDE-Kongress-Aussteller KINEXON gewinnt EY Award
Vom 7. bis 8. November präsentierte KINEXON seine Lösung auf dem VDE-Kongress 2016 vor prominenten Gästen aus Wirtschaft, Politik und Medien. Kernthema des diesjährigen Kongresses war das “Internet der Dinge” mit besonderem Fokus auf die zugrunde liegenden Technologien und die daraus resultierenden Anwendungen. Es wurde deutlich, dass Kinexon beide Ebenen anspricht: eine hochmoderne Sensornetzwerktechnologie, die intelligente Standort- und Bewegungsdaten erzeugt und eine leistungsstarke Analyseplattform, auf der verschiedene “Anwendungen” eingerichtet werden können. Der Kongress unterstrich einmal mehr die Bedeutung von Positions- und Statusinformationen für die Realisierung vielversprechender IoT-Anwendungen in den Bereichen Asset Tracking, autonome Navigation, Toolhandling und Prozessautomatisierung. Mit seiner zentimetergenauen Ortungs- und Bewegungssensorlösung erfüllt Kinexon diese Anforderung perfekt. Wir betreiben das Internet der Dinge, indem wir die Schlüsselfragen beantworten, wo und in welchem Zustand Objekte sich in Echtzeit befinden.
Zusammen mit ausgewählten Unternehmen waren wir Teil des Gemeinschaftsstandes von Ernst & Young (EY) — dem Platin-Sponsor des Kongresses. Teil des Kongresses war der EY Pitch-Wettbewerb für aufstrebende Unternehmen, die bahnbrechende Technologien für das Internet der Dinge entwickeln. Unser Geschäftsführer Nikolai von Loeper überzeugte die Jury und das Publikum von der Einzigartigkeit und dem Nutzen der Spitzentechnologie von Kinexon. Am Ende wurde Kinexon als Gesamtsieger unter 8 ausgewählten Unternehmen ausgezeichnet. Die Jury würdigte, dass Kinexon die Einführung des Internet der Dinge ermöglicht, indem es Objekte und industrielle Prozesse intelligent und sichtbar gestaltet. Wir sind für diese Auszeichnung sehr dankbar, denn sie würdigt unser ständiges Bestreben, Industrieunternehmen zu ermöglichen, die digitale Transformation mit einer Schlüsseltechnologie von Kinexon zu bewältigen — einer Technologie, die ihnen hilft, durch die Optimierung ihrer Produkte und Prozesse in Bezug auf Qualität, Kosten und Zeit besser zu werden.
