Chicago, 08 May 2019

The 2019 Professional Basketball Combine (PBC) will be held at Mamba Sports Academy in Thousand Oaks, CA, on May 21-22. The PBC is a secondary NBA draft combine designed to give players an opportunity to showcase their talents in front of team decision makers and NBA executives.

Teaming up with technology leader KINEXON, the Advanced Combine at the PBC will debut on site this May. It will feature new advanced combine tests by showcasing the KINEXON system, and serving as the hub for integration with additional technology partners RSPCT and VERT.

The Advanced Combine at the PBC will debut 4 new combine tests with the goal of identifying predictors of success at the highest levels of professional basketball ultimately leading to an evolution in talent evaluation.

“We believe that teaming up with KINEXON to debut the Advanced Combine at the PBC will provide teams with an exciting new way to analyze data and metrics while also impacting roster decisions.” – Jake Kelfer, PBC Founder.

“Teams are consistently looking for innovative ways to evaluate future talent and we are excited to be evolving the combine experience with the PBC Team. KINEXON, along with our partner RSPCT, is helping create drills that will help talent evaluators extract game relevant performance indicators utilizing real-time position and shooting data in-game equivalent testing scenarios. Our hope is that the data we share with teams gets them one step closer to a more holistic approach on talent identification.” Jim Garofalo, Executive Vice President KINEXON Sports & Media.
