[August 5, 2026, Chicago, IL] – KINEXON Sports is proud to welcome Jason Kabo, Associate Head Strength Coach and Director of Men’s Basketball Strength and Conditioning at Purdue University, as the newest addition to the KINEXON Ambassador Program.
Kabo brings 27 years of strength and conditioning experience and an extensive background in developing collegiate athletes. He began his career at UNLV, where he spent 23 years advancing from volunteer and intern roles to Director of Strength and Conditioning for Olympic Sports (11 years). During his tenure, he worked with multiple programs, including men’s and women’s basketball, volleyball, and women’s golf, before joining Purdue University as Associate Head Strength Coach and Director of Men’s Basketball Strength and Conditioning.
Since Kabo joined the Boilermakers, the men’s basketball program has achieved significant success, including a Big Ten regular season and tournament titles, and an appearance in the 2024 National Championship, with a combined 78 – 26 record (.750 Pct.) over the past three seasons.
“The people at KINEXON Sports are just as valuable as the technology they provide to help our program compete in one of the most competitive basketball conferences in the country,” Kabo said. “The expectations for our players and staff require us to stay two or three steps ahead in our preparation. I look forward to sharing how KINEXON technology gives us greater confidence in the decisions we make leading into tipoff.”
As a KINEXON ambassador, Kabo will share best practices for coaches using performance data to support athlete development, practice planning, and post-game analysis. His perspective will help guide coaches on applicable ways to integrate athlete-monitoring technology into their daily workflows.
“Jason has brought a thoughtful and disciplined approach to advancing the performance goals of Purdue men’s basketball,” said Jim Garofalo, Executive Vice President of Sales and General Manager for North America at KINEXON Sports. “His ability to translate performance data into meaningful coaching decisions makes him an outstanding addition to the KINEXON Ambassador Program.”
Garofalo added, “Jason is highly respected throughout the basketball performance community, and Purdue’s success reflects the program’s commitment to preparation and athlete development. His coaching experience and data analysis methods will help more teams see how technology can strengthen training strategies, improve decision-making, and support ongoing player development.”
