Stanford University’s Tyler Friedrich joins the KINEXON Ambassador Program. He will be integrated into KINEXON Sports’ product development initiatives. Separately, he will support the creation of educational materials for coaches to implement data analytics into their daily athlete performance analysis workflows.
[Chicago, IL | July 15, 2026] | KINEXON Sports is proud to welcome Tyler Friedrich, Marie and Alex Shipman Associate Athletics Director for Applied Performance at Stanford University, as the newest member of the KINEXON Ambassador Program.
Friedrich brings more than 15 years of experience in strength and conditioning, applied sports science, athlete development, and performance analytics. Now entering his 10th year at Stanford, he has cemented himself as an asset to enhancing athlete performance, overseeing the Sports Performance, Sports Science, Sports Nutrition, and Equipment Services departments, and serving on DAPER’s Leadership Team. Before Stanford, Friedrich worked at Arizona State University and his alma mater, the University of Dayton, supporting numerous sports as a strength and conditioning coach.
As a KINEXON Ambassador, Friedrich will provide firsthand insights for volleyball coaches looking to integrate data analytics into their programs. His experience will also guide the continued development of KINEXON’s indoor performance tracking solutions, PERFORM IMU and PERFORM LPS.
“I’ve worked closely with the KINEXON team for more than 10 years, and they’ve continued to push forward with data services that support our coaching staff,” said Friedrich. “It’s exciting to break down the data with coaches, helping them see how it can make a meaningful impact on preparation, development, and on-court performance.”
Jim Garofalo, Executive Vice President of Sales and General Manager for North America at KINEXON Sports, said Friedrich’s experience and perspective make him a valuable addition to the program.
“Tyler has been an advocate for our solutions long before we asked him to become an ambassador,” Garofalo said. “His commitment to athlete performance and innovation makes him a strong voice for coaches looking to use data more effectively. We’re excited to have his expertise help our team continue improving our products and services.”
