How we use your data

KINEXON will process your personal data for the following purposes:

Our legitimate interest typically consists of wanting to provide the best possible quality for our services such as our website. In addition, we may also process your personal data to enter into a contract with you or to perform our obligations under an existing contract.

In order to conduct the processing described above, your data may be forwarded to other subsidiaries and parties of the KINEXON group. For the purpose of building a business relationship, we will evaluate your data and have defined the following deletion deadlines. If the evaluation shows that there is no chance for a cooperation, your data will be deleted immediately. Should we see an opportunity to build a business relationship, your data will be saved to our systems. They will be automatically deleted however, if we do not see any interaction for two years (e.g. opening a newsletter, visiting the website, downloads). Your rights in terms of the GDPR remain unaffected by these typical periods.

HUBSPOT CRM-PLATFORM

We use the tool HubSpot CRM (hereinafter HubSpot”) to store and process the data in our sales and marketing processes. This is an all-in-one platform for inbound marketing, sales, CRM and customer service provided by HubSpot Inc., 25 First Street, 2nd Floor, Cambridge, MA 02141 USA. As HubSpot cannot guarantee that data will not be transferred to the USA, we have entered into agreements with HubSpot involving EU standard contractual clauses. HubSpot, Inc. participates in the EU-US Privacy Shield Agreement and the Swiss‑U.S. Privacy Shield and is certified for compliance with them.

The data collected via these forms will be processed and stored in HubSpot. In addition to the data you enter, your IP address and the time at which you subscribed to the marketing newsletter are stored. In addition to the form data, HubSpot evaluates the data collected about you via cookies when you send the form data. GOOGLE ANALYTICS

Our website uses Google Analytics, a Google web analytics tool using cookies. The information generated by the cookie about your usage of the website is generally transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. We have activated IP anonymization for this website so that Google will shorten your IP address if you are located within the EEA.

KINEXON uses the Google Ads” service for conversion tracking’, i.e. we can see what happens after you click on one of our ads. Cookies are used for this with a limited validity and they do not contain any personal data. Personal identification of the user is therefore not possible. Our legitimate interest in using this service is to analyze and optimize the operation of our website.

GOOGLE REMARKETING TAG


We also use Google’s remarketing technology. This allows us to serve you personalised advertising on appropriate advertising spaces on other websites, based on the interests you have shown on our website. This option is limited to a maximum of 18 months.

HOTJAR

We use Hotjar in order to better understand our users’ needs and to optimize our service and user-experience (e.g. how much time you spend on which pages, which links you choose to click, what users do and don’t like, etc.) and this enables us to build and maintain our service with user feedback. Hotjar uses cookies and other technologies to collect data on our users’ behavior and their devices. This includes a device’s IP address (processed during your session and stored in a de-identified form), device screen size, device type (unique device identifiers), browser information, geographic location (country only), and the preferred language used to display our website. GREENHOUSE

Should you apply for a role at KINEXON, your data will be entered into our recruiting platform Greenhouse https://​www​.greenhouse​.io/​d​e​/​p​r​i​v​a​c​y​-​p​olicy based in New York, USA. We use this to manage our available roles, schedule interviews and document potential new hires. This processing activity may include all categories of personal data listed above including any sensitive data that you may need to provide in the recruiting process. If relevant, we may also share data you have entered into Greenhouse with parties involved in the hiring process such as investors or recruiters

This processing activity may include hosting the service, storing your data and using the data for internal development and improvement of the Greenhouse platform. In the provision of the services, Greenhouse also uses sub-processors as detailed in their privacy policy.

Should you wish to revoke this processing activity, you can contact the Data Protection Officer at KINEXON and we will delete the data from the platform with immediate effect. Otherwise an automatic deletion of the data is configured for 180 days with an automated reminder asking if you want to extend the storage.

Social network plug-ins are integrated on our website. Please keep in mind that user data might be processed outside the scope of the GDPR, which can result in risks for the users.
