LPS technology combines wearable sensors with strategically placed anchors to precisely track player movements. Whether it’s an American football field, soccer pitch, or any other playing area, LPS provides accurate real-time data.

LPS Makes a Breakthrough in the ELF

An American football field is A playing field is surrounded by a LPS playing tracking technology that is radio-based tracking network comprising 24 anchors.

During the 2022 European League of Football championship game, KINEXON Sports introduced live player data for the first time. Here’s how it worked:

  1. Sensor-Equipped Players: Each player wore sensors embedded in their shoulder pads. These unobtrusive devices captured critical metrics during the game.
  2. 24 Anchors Around the Field: A radio-based tracking network with 24 anchors encircled the playing field. These anchors acted as reference points for precise positioning.

This technology significantly enhances stats, and what they mean in European Football, offering fans exclusive insights.
