KINEXON Launches New GPS-Based Player Tracking System for Outdoor Team Sports

With PERFORM GPS Pro, KINEXON presents the latest generation of a GPS-based tracking solution for mobile performance and stress analysis of outdoor athletes. In addition to the highest data quality, this innovation stands out from other systems with a live stream to the AWS Cloud and other features that make everyday analysis work more flexible and faster for coaches.

Sports performance training can now be developed with the help of live, real-time data that is collected during practices and games and sent directly to the cloud.
MunichMay 10, 2023

KINEXON, a leading provider of real-time player tracking solutions, has launched KINEXON PERFORM GPS Pro, a GPS-based player tracking system designed for coaches in soccer, football and other outdoor team sports.

The system allows players to be tracked in real-time while collecting around 120 live metrics on performance and load, providing valuable information for diagnostics, return-to-play, training planning, load management, rehabilitation, player development, performance analysis, and more.

Highest number of live metrics and faster operation

KINEXON PERFORM GPS Pro stands out from other similar systems due to its excellent data quality, which was demonstrated in FIFA’s EPTS test in Seville in 2022, where it achieved the best test results. It also offers three times more live metrics than other systems, with around 120 live in total.

100% Cloud-based: How to save time thanks to automated processes

Unlike comparable well-known GPS tracking systems, KINEXON PERFORM GPS Pro can stream live data directly to the AWS Cloud. This allows multiple users to access the data at the same time — even remotely.

In addition, since all relevant performance metrics are provided live, athletic trainers no longer have to rely on the manual readout process directly after training, saving valuable time. The automated remote provision of reports and the ability to view data from other teams (such as the 2nd team) at any time also speeds up work routines.

Four ways to connect plus wireless charging for maximum flexibility on the road

The system has four ways to connect to the Internet, and it also offers the option to use the system offline. All the data is collected with the same quality and sophistication as when used online, but it is only accessible after the session is over.

Additionally, the wearables are wirelessly charged, meaning that all wearables can be charged up to three times in the charging cradle without having to be plugged in.

We are thrilled to launch KINEXON PERFORM GPS Pro – our latest mobile player tracking solution. Our focus is to provide teams with excellent data quality, unprecedented live capability and most automated processing to save time for the coaching staff. We are confident that this will become an essential tool for coaches looking to innovate the way how to analyze, consult and manage player health and physical development.”
